Best NEW YORK DELI on the West Coast!I don't want to rave too much about Teds, because then the already long lines will be out the door and down the block, but all I'll say is this former New Yawker is finally in DELI heaven here. Don't tell anyone. This will be our little secret..First to Review
Authentic Home Cooked German CuisineAs a child, I spent many summers with my grandmother in Germany. The first time I ate at Walzwerk, I nearly cried as the food immediately brought me back to my childhood memories of my grandmother's home cooking. I've eaten at Suppenkuche and the food is excellent and very authentic, but it's more traditional German restaurant cuisine than good German home cooking that I remembered so well. The space is small and a bit crowded so there usually is a good wait for a table. Just sit in the bar area and enjoy a 'boot' of imported German Beer while you wait. Also, check out the bathroom with all the old East German 45 records on the walls and the toiletries from days long ago. They're priceless!First to Review
