Lime: CLOSED (Closed Permanently)

(25 Ratings)
Hip bar/restaurant draws a large crowd for its mixed drinks.
Trendy new bar/restaurant reminscent of a New York or West Hollywood bar. They bill themselves as a restaurant and you can actually grab food at the restaurant area in back, but the front bar area is the place to be and usually packed on weekends.

everything went wrong on new years eve

our party of 9 reserved a booth and vip for $110 per person. Our booth was given away our drinks came late our apps. came after our over cooked steaks. which were supposed to be crab cakes.... they sat cheap chicken on the table without an explaining. side items were supposed to be aspg we got cheap zucc.

Lime is a lemon

OK, the place looks fab. But it is way overpriced, and not particularly good. Go for a drink and eat elsewhere.

Nice, but pricy

I've come to Lime off an on over the years and my experiences have been somewhat mixed. I love their food but you could go broke fast: we once had a $200 meal (four people) having just appetizers and cocktails. The lounge area is nice for drinks, but the backless seating is somewhat uncomfortable if you stay too long. The brunch menu is yummy (bottomless mimosas!), but the music is cranked way up, which is I guess the point, but it makes a quiet Sunday brunch while nursing Saturday night's hangover a little challenging.

Not worth your time

I am new to SF from living between Los Angeles and NYC.I stoped in for brunch and the food was ok and service was bad giving the fact it was not even busy.
