What we say
A nice spot to gather with friends.
This former hole in the wall is quickly becoming a Sunday afternoon sports watching spot. It's not unusal to see a crowd in here just about any time of the day. Enjoy the weekend BBQ and watch the large TV screens usually filled with golf, basketball, baseball or whatever sport is in season.

i loved the club and being a repressed west virginian that is coming back to live there forever is my plan i did leave my heart in the castro and did love how i was treated as a fellow human being by the local gay crowd i was not really treated as an outsider even the police helped me find my own people so that says alot about how the gays are treated by police and how i feel as a gay man who is coming back by the way the club owner of the mix owes me 2 free brews and said he will remember me i will remember him what a hunk.

I'm not too crazy about the front bar area. It tends to be dominated by loud drunks, but the back patio is awesome! The bar-tenders are usually friendly, the crowd has a nice neighborhood vibe, and I enjoy rubbing elbows with lesbians and gay men alike.

Wow this place has really changed! I never used to go to this bar but I go a lot now. The crowd is always friendly and the back porch even has heat lamps and a grille. I like that this bar attracts both gays and lesbians which is something you usually don't find in the Castro. Sports rule the tv's but Sunday night the L Word is playing and draws a crowd. The bartenders make some of the bext drinks in town and they are strong. If you haven't been there since it was Uncle Burts you need to give it another shot.
