Marlena's (Closed Permanently)

(17 Ratings)
Hayes Valley's own Gay Bar
Marlena's is slightly off of the beaten path, but a great little gay place to check into when in the Hayes Valley neighborhood. With over the top weekly drag shows and stiff drinks to fill in the spaces in between, this bar gets a real community feel.

Amazing

I went to Marlena's for the first time on my 22nd birthday and i had an amazing time. The staff were incredibly sweet and attentive and the clientele was a nice mix.

WOW very nice place really nice people

And talk about a drag show. This is the best I've seen in San Francisco this year. I wish it had a dance floor and dancing. I had a really cute young hung and dumb guy groping me, to a drag queen that's true love. Most people were more than willing to talk and smile and I got more than one hug. Great place to have fun, get groped and watch a drag show in drag.
