One of the few places in the Castro where everyone is welcome. Great place to have a beer and meet guys who just want to be guys. Theme nights every now and then. Friday nights are always busy.

Ok, hit this bar early on a Saturday night and it was getting full already. Not many young things here, but a few bear daddies to look at. Not the most pretty people here, but the beers were cheap and the set up is all about cruising. Stand at the top of the stairs to get a good look at the front bar!

440 Castro is my preferred bar when visiting S.F. Strong drinks, great music, hottest bar staff in the Castro with manners to match. Cientele is down to earth and friendly. Big thumbs up for the private bathroom when you may have brought along a lady friend or a pee shy. guy.

Heads up Daddy's is now known as 440 Castro and it is changing for the better. It's no longer just an older leather bar crowd. It now has a nice mix of all ages and types. Theme nights and fundraisers are now becoming part of the bar and they are very successful. The owners have done a great job of turning this bar into a fun venue. They usually have a few beer busts every week so you're getting more for your buck.

I always like going to Daddy's... The bartenders are cool and you can count on meeting some hot men up in there.

This is the first place in the Castro I'd take the preconceptions of gay-positive friends from Sunnyvale. Where else can you order an off-tasting Souther Comfort Sour while rubbig shoulders with a hairy man watching porno promos from Chi-Chi Larue?
