Hit the Eagle late on a Sunday night (after the 4th of July) not a lot of people but the bartender was friendly and fetched us up a cold beer. The few guys that were there were all having an enjoyable time. Will definately check it out again sometime when it's busier.

sunday afternoons in the sun on the patio are to die for: beer, grilling, and hot guys of all sorts. except when it gets so crowded you have to fight your way through bar chested men. oh, i guess that parts pretty fun, too!

The Eagle is several things. (1) It's an old school hippie leather bar. You'll find longhaired men, bikers who ride real motorcycles, leather guys who are down to earth. (2) You will hear the BEST music of any bar. The DJs are spectacular, combining hard rock with blues, Western music, and glam rock. (3) Thursdays is live band night when 2 or 3 bands play and the place becomes mixed gay/straight, old/young, etc. It can be very very cool! (4) The Sunday beer bust is massive. (5) The bartenders are some of the best, friendliest guys you'll ever want to meet! They also know how to mix everything from a red headed slut to a gin & tonic. (6) Age ranges are about 25 to 75, with lots of respect shown for everyone. It's a relief to have a bar for everybody.

Went here on a Friday night - very empty and half girls/guys. Went back on Sunday for Beer Bust - FULL of hot guys! Sure, I'm 38 and seeing other guys my age that were that hot just makes me want to go back. Most were super friendly, and some leather shown, saw a porn star there even! Didn't see much under 28, so if you're looking for young/hot, go elsewhere. Beer at the bust was $10 drink until 6 pm, so get there early to get you $$ worth! Ended up hooking up with a hot couple here!!!

The Sunday beer bust is the best party in SF. For ten bucks you can drink all the beer you want as well as getting a meal by the bbq grill. The crowd runs from leather to preppy and everyone gets along. Eventhough the crowd is 98% male I have taken females to this bar and they had a blast

For a collection of the most unattractive men in Northern CA, this is the place. It's especially gruesome when the Lone Star doesn't have a Beer Bust on Sunday's.
