What we say
A sleepy neighborhood bar full of regular locals.
The Men's Room is really a local bar and its rare to find out of towners here (or for that matter, its rare to find anyone there). This is a place where the regulars and bartenders all know each other and its not uncommon to have a weekend afternoon party for a regular's birthday, retirement or you name it.

Having moved up here to San Francisco 2 months now, I have tried to find a friendly bar, a friend took me to this bar.
people were friendly, the bartender Steve is very cool! I would highly recommend it for people who want to meet others in a relaxed atmosphere.
Although I've had a couple of good times here, I've also had times where it was eerily quiet and deserted. More often than not, I'd describe this bar as a little boring. It might be a good place to have a conversation with a close friend though...
I first went there last during the Folsom Street Fair last year and went again during Dore Alley this year. Everyone there is friendly, bartenders and patrons alike. It is an easy place to strike up a conversation and the drinks are primo strong also. Definatley a plus. I will be back during Folsom this year.
I started going to the Mens room, the first time i went to San Francisco.I have been there 3 times,i always had a good time. There a nice bartender there,i believe from Ireland ,very nice man, great people.Im from Maine, what a treat.
