Bobby Brackins Bio:
Some people know him as Young Dannon, others know him as Mr. Stay On It aka 5ho Biz the rest of the world knows him as Bobby Brackins, rapper, song writer, trend setter extraordinaire. September 14, 1988, the Bay area native was born at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley and lived in Oakland from birth to the age of 17. While in Oakland he unraveled his creativity within a city full of raw and unending talent by starting a group called Go Dav, which received national attention after the release of their single Ride or Die Chick. After high school Bobby attended San Jose State for two years right before he decided to move to Los Angeles, transferring to Santa Monica City.
Motivated by the success of his first group Go Dav, Bobby spent a lot of time writing music and performing in local shows in the Bay, it wasnt until he moved to the city of angels and signed with Indie-Pop and Tycoon Status that he decided to do music full time. Spiraling from that decision came the world wide hit 143 featuring Ray J, then a signing by the Universal Republic records proved to be an amazing success for the young Dannon.
Since then Bobby has brought us back to back hits that flooded the viral marketplace with audio and video placements on XXLmag.com, Complex.com, Hotnewhiphop.com, Hiphopwired.com and hundreds of other urban media outlets leaving a lasting impression on mainstream and urban underground websites alike. He released Brothel which caught internet fire, Reppin my City featuring up and coming super star Mann and NC-17 featuring Ty$. In December 2011, adding to his list of amazing visuals Bobby Brackins released a video from his hit single Golden State featuring Bay Area artists Iamsu and Roach Gigz, which took off like wildfire on the internet!
Bobby spent the most of 2011 perfecting his artistry and lyrical skill, he wrote a hit single for Oakland native and now Disney superstar, Zendaya, titled Swag it out. In addition to that Bobby completed The Young and Hung Over tour sharing the bill with the Prince of LA YG and Ty$. After jumping off of that tour Bobby decided to continue his travel across the country promoting his new mix tape Pimp Hand Strong. He has performed at numerous summer jams events and has even obtained Billboard top 100 success! April 25, 2012 marked the day that Bobby Released his final mix tape titled Stay on it which the remix to his record Golden State, Earthquake launched off of with heavy radio rotation. Bobby Brackins is the Co-founder of clothing line Lost Kats, a shiek exclusive brand catered towards people that are unique in their ways and are ok with being different.
