Showcasing some of our city’s most talented and diverse performers, WORK MORE! rides the line between theater performance and nightlife experience. Performance artists, fine artists, lighting designers and dancers partner with local drag queens to create four intimate and over the top performance installations. Using lip-synch, dance, high drag, naked bodies, theory and good old fashion camp, the audience will be guided through the space, a virtual haunted house of glamour, for a distinctly San Francisco experience.

Drag has long been a mode of preserving queer histories, from chosen families to on stage story telling. Sharing these techniques and histories with other artists expands these traditions beyond club culture to a wider audience. Working across art disciplines and with diverse bodies, the performers will collaborate to write their own new language of queer history.
