Exhibition Opening | Migrating Archives: LGBT Delegates From Collections Around the World
Friday Feb 1, 2013 6:00pm-8:00pm in San Francisco
The first exhibition of international scope at The GLBT History Museum, "Migrating Archives" includes materials from archives in Australia, Belgium, England, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Scotland, South Africa and the United States.

Each participating organization provided photographs of artifacts that portray the experiences of one or two queer individuals from the past. Graphic panels and videos bring the materials together to tell vivid stories of both GLBT lives and the archival collections that honor them.

CURATOR: E. G. Crichton, artist-in-residence at the GLBT Historical Society; professor of art at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

ADMISSION: $5.00 (general); $3.00 (students); free for members.
