LA BAMBA 2: HELL IS A DRAG
online trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ILlmeLNU-Y
The SFUSFF is dedicated to supporting underground cinema from Bay Area filmmakers. This raucously, thrilling evening will include 2 big programs full of shorts and concludes with the World Premiere of the feature film La Bamba 2: Hell Is A Drag written and directed by Rob Fatal.
ACT 1 (Shorts Circus) begins at 7:00pm and ACT 2 (Shorts After Dark) at 9:30pm. La Bamba 2: Hell Is A Drag premieres at Midnight.
Tickets are $15 for each individual shorts program, $12 for the midnight premiere, or $20 for EVERYTHING, and Peaches Christ Fan Club members will receive a $2 discount offer. Become a member at http://www.peacheschrist.com/?page_id=182
The SFUSFF will be a physically immersive event with Christ and Sharkey kicking off the night with a Live Rock Show, followed by special appearances from some of the filmmakers themselves and the stars of the films. Some films will screen with a live interactive component where the film is presented in 4-D! Remember that the second program of the evening, or as it’s called Shorts After Dark will feature the more adult content of the festival (basically all the blood and sex), so be sure to bring your mom.
SFUSFF celebrates the underground, overlooked, avant-garde, and ultra outrageous films of the Bay Area. SFUSFF has run since 2003 as the concluding event of the Midnight Mass screening series, which began in 1998.
3 GIANT ACTS featuring the best in underground Bay Area filmmaking talent.
