Central Market NOW: celebrating local art
Come get a taste of what's to come with Central Market NOW, a new initiative that aims to strengthen the Central Market community through art.
Come eat, drink and make art at our our hub for this event, Hospitality House, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. You can also head next door to SF Camerawork, which has a special exhibit from 6 to 8 pm. At 7 pm, head on over to LINES Ballet to enjoy student choreography or to Cutting Ball Theater to hear from the director of their next production, Ubu Roi, about how the set (a working kitchen) will be used and transformed by the actors during the production.
Our aim is to highlight and support the rich art, culture and community that is already happening in the neighborhood. We’re currently in the research stage of the project to decide on priorities and want to hear from you!
