International QueerTango Festival San Francisco

QueerTango and QueerTango Cafe of San Francisco are proud to sponsor the third International QueerTango Festival located in the United States. We seek to encourage a vibrant, inclusive community of same sex alternative tango dancers, and provide a space in which to explore the unlimited possibilities of dancing Argentine Tango when the ordinary roles attached to gender are unhooked. We are thrilled to bring people together from around the world . . . to dance, learn and explore tango, as well as to share different cultural experiences. We hope that you will be excited to learn tango from many talented and amazing instructors. The dates were chosen to give you the opportunity to add the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival (June 16-26, 2011) www.frameline.org, and the San Francisco Gay Pride week (ending June 26, 2011), www.sfpride.org, to your travel plans.
