Hi friends, family and future friends!
As some of you may know, my mom is of poor health and lives in Chicago IL. Have you been following the weather there this year? Brutal. Twice this winter she was literally trapped in her house for a week. And the summer is not much better, with the extreme heat and humidity so high they warn seniors to stay inside for most of July and August.
To that end, I am trying to move her out here for her health.
The problem? Money, of course. She is very low-income, and has absolutely ZERO savings. I wish I could just pay for all the relocation costs out of pocket, but alas, I cannot.
I have to somehow raise a minimum of $3,000 (not including the cost of getting her furniture once she gets out here).
