CounterPulse presents Screaming Queens: Screening, Walking Tour, and Salon AUG 17, SUN at 2PM Join us for the near-50th anniversary of the Compton Cafeteria riots with a screening of the famed documentary Screaming Queens! The screening will be preceded by a Queer History of the Tenderloin walking tour with Del Seymour explores the landscape and legacy of the Tenderloin as a trans and queer hub in San Francisco. After the screening we will migrate to Aunt Charlie’s for a salon hosted by original screaming queen herself Felicia Elizondo, Annie Danger, and Julie Phelps of CounterPulse to discuss the past, present and future of the Tenderloin over happy hour drinks.
