Kemp grew up with music as a fundamental part of his life in his native state of Texas, writing and producing from an early age, later acting as a frontman for his own band, and beginning to DJ at 18. It was in NYC where the love for sharing house, deep house, and tech house music in a live setting took over. Co-promoter of EDGE NYC, he and his DJ partner Ryan Gordillo hosted monthly parties at Nowhere Bar, This N That Bar, and Rock Bar NYC.
