Lit Crawl San Francisco is back! And Hyphen magazine—your source for Asian American culture and politics—is excited to present a night of hard-hitting, jaw-dropping, awesome poetry to celebrate the release of our R/evolution issue. THE POETS: Dan Lau received the Kundiman Fellowship, a William Dickey Fellowship, and a Individual Artist Grant from San Francisco Arts Commission. His poems have been accepted for publication in Generations, Cape Cod Review, Gesture, RHINO, and others. Maw Shein Win has work forthcoming in the anthology Cross-Strokes. She is currently a poetry editor for Rivet and was an artist in residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Ravi Chandra, M.D., blogs for Psychology Today and the Center for Asian American Media. He just completed his first non-fiction book, about the psychology of social networks through a Buddhist lens. Kenji C. Liu, a Pushcart Prize and California Book Award nominee, has writing in or forthcoming in the Los Angeles Review, The Collagist, Barrow Street Journal, CURA, RHINO Poetry, and others. He is poetry editor emeritus of Kartika Review. Jaz Sufi competed for Stockton at the National Poetry Slam in 2012 and 2013, was voted audience’s choice both years at inkSlam, and represented San Francisco at the 2013 Women of the World Poetry Slam.
