Gay for Good will again be joining the Rainbow Fund this coming weekend to help with the installation of the Tree of Hope and the hanging of the thousands of origami cranes.
PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you PLEASE leave a comment indicating which session you wish to RSVP rather than click "join". This will be on a first come first serve basis and comments will be the best way for us to track how many RSVP's there are. Also, please only RSVP if you are confirmed that you will be joining. I do apologize in advance if I this unintentionally comes off as rigid.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
What: Tree Of Hope Installation and Origami Crane Hanging
Where: Grace Cathedral
When: Saturday, 22 November - 9am-noon (5 people needed) & noon-3pm (20 people needed). We will also include 5 people to be "On Call" in case of a person needing to cancel.
Full details will be emailed to the individuals as each session fills.
The World Tree of Hope is the largest origami decorated holiday tree in the world, standing nearly 20 feet tall and decorated with over 12,000 origami cranes and stars each hand folded and inscribed with wishes
for the future of the world. The Tree is a symbol of global unity promoting peace, love and humanitarianism and is a gift from the LGBT community to the world. This year the tree is moving to it's new home at Grace Cathedral. http://www.rainbowfund.org/tree/tree-of-hope.html
Thanks a ton in advance and my apologies if there isn't enough room for all who wish to help out.
