Opening the festival this weekend are: BARUCH PORRAS-HERNANDEZ whose original stories "When I Was a Color Kid" (performed at SF Oasis in Marga Gomez' PERFORMARA) and "Every Night I Burn" are getting rave reviews and will be part of his upcoming one man show.
WINDY WYNAZZ in her provocative new work "UnCouth - A Showgirl, A Yearning, And Her Jewish Mother" directed by Dan Griffiths, is one of the Bay Area's freshest physical theater artists. She mixes circus arts with interactive theater and treats each show as a living experiment. She is off to tour the US and Canada this summer, so don't miss this star on the rise.
ERICA SODOS is one of the rare female mentalists. Her magical brand of interactive entertainment inspires audiences wherever she goes. She returns to her stage roots in San Francisco with "The Magic Within" ONE night only Friday, April 10.
DREA LUSION was born at the crossroads of dance, mime, clown and puppetry. Her world is made up of curious characters, music and hilarious magic.
NEXT TWO WEEKS: don't miss ALICIA DATTNER in her hilarious new show, Not Pretty. She's won numerous awards including Best Comedian Bay Guardian and SF Weekly, NY Solo Festival, and Best of Fringe for The Oy of Sex.
PACO ROMANE (Drunk History, Killing My Lobster, Best Comedian Guardian and SF Weekly) is what SF Sketchfest producer, Cole Stratton calls... "a mash up of all things funny--sketch, stand-up, improv, you name it."
BOB MCINTYRE serves up a deliciously pithy, hysterical serving of stories about working at "NOT what you would call fine dining establishments." Bob is compiling his memoirs into a one man show, "Please Wait to Be Seated." You can also see him starring as Jerri Blank in Strangers with Candy in May at the EXIT.
LARS ADAMS, GRIFFIN WULF, KATY LYNN AND MARY HICKS whose wacky hybrid concepts redefine clowning, are fresh from performing at the SF Circus Center and other gigs. CAT DANCE improv troupe performs 100% unscripted scenes with full characters.
SLATER PENNEY (The Submarine Show) and CASON MACBRIDE (Missed Connections) team up in a tour-de-force physical play inventing games on the go in The Box Club.

SF Weekly: "A variety show could hardly be truer to the genre than Bitch and Tell...And all are comedians - in their own ways. Yet these acts are not your typical comedy club routines, so that's where producer Mary Alice Fry came in.... The comedians, broadly defined, in Bitch and Tell specialize in thoughtful, observational humor, and they also play with the form of comedy in exciting ways."
