The Holistic Chamber of Sound— February. *Sold Out*- will be back in March!

**Tickets for all four nights are completely sold out** There's always people who can't come at the last moment, so check the event page. If you sell your ticket to someone, remind them to use *your* first and last name at the door. As a response to all this beauty and madness, we booked 5 dates in March <3 ---- Stay in touch with us on our facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/437329813131245/ And to get alerts about future events, sign up at www.soundmeditationsf.com. ---- If you're looking for a really deep experience, we do have spots left for our Breathwork Sound Bath (an intensive, workshop style event) on the afternoon of the 21th: https://events.sparxo.com/febbreathwork2 ---- Thank you to our incredible community for helping us choose our new (awesome) location! ----- We are delighted to present out February rendition of "The Holistic Chamber of Sound"— a beautiful concert that brings you into a deep state of meditation. We’ll have three 32" Paiste gongs, over a dozen huge crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bronze bowls, shamanic drums, hang drums, Native American flutes, Koshi chimes, Tingshe chimes, bells, and more. A huge thank you to the Baha'i Center— a huge sacred space with great acoustics that's right near the BART on Valencia St. Guy Douglas is coming back up from Los Angeles and merging into our loving SF vibe for another night of sound meditation. For those of you who have never been to a "sound bath" before, here's what you can expect: You lie down and are bathed head to toe in sound— it's a very dreamy, ethereal experience. Many say "you can't think" during a south bath- we describe it as a deep meditation. We strongly recommend this event for people who have trouble meditating, or feel like they just "can't get there". Give this a try :). --- Important Info: Please arrive by 7:40. If you're driving, make that 7:30. Location: The Baha'i Community of San Francisco- 170 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA. You can wear anything that's comfortable. Bring a bottle of water because that's always a good idea.I recommend bringing a yoga mat and (optional) a pillow & a blanket or two. Our events do get full, and we do encourage people to get close to one another. That being said, you're always free to claim more personal space :) --- Why Sound? Sound Meditation (Sound Healing) is so effective because it influences our emotional bodies as well as our physical bodies. Different sound vibrations interact with our physical and energetic bodies in beneficial ways: Activates Higher States of Consciousness Unlocks Blocked Emotions Relieves Anxiety and Stress Induces Complete Relaxation Promotes Deep Meditation Heightens Clarity Improves Ability to Concentrate Relieves Insomnia Decreases Depression Normalizes Blood Pressure Relieves Physical Pain Release Emotional Trauma --- Guy Douglas is a Sound Healing Practitioner/gongmaster. He has been involved with the healing power of music his whole life from many difference perspectives: writing, recording, producing and performing. He has studied sound healing techniques & the eastern philosophy of music, which helps clear dormant pathways to open the heart. --- $25. There is a small number of volunteer opportunities available for those who would like to come, but cannot otherwise afford to. If you're a first time volunteer with us, we ask that you put down a deposit of $25 that will be refunded when you arrive. (this event is not religious & has no religious affiliation) This event is not recommended for anyone with a history of siezures or children under 12.
