One day to go!
For those who are able to attend, we’re looking forward to seeing you at our presentation tomorrow! We know some folks are coming all the way from San Diego, Los Angeles, and Sacramento for it! It’s going to be a fun, informative afternoon.
Some reminders and a couple of things to note:
1) Super important: Please don’t wear perfume or other scented products. This can make people around you (including Jennifer and myself) ill.
2) The Koret Auditorium has a seating capacity of 235. We’re expecting roughly about 100-150 people, though it could be a full house so come early to get good seating. Doors will open at around 12:40 PM. The presentation will begin at 1 PM.
3) If you arrive extra early, check out the library’s LGBT exhibit in the room right across from the Koret Auditorium. Super cool.
4) If you are an interpreter and would like to earn CEUs for your attendance, please be sure to register and pay for them on the NorCRID website ASAP. Registration/payment for CEUs will not be accepted at the door.
5) Please be advised that this presentation contains graphic content. While we willl give content notices, this presentation may not be suitable for minors and parental discretion is advised.
6) There will be three short breaks. Bring water and snacks to eat during these breaks to keep you energized. (Note: Drinking and eating are not allowed in the Koret Auditorium.)
7) Traveling by BART from the East Bay? You may need to give yourself an extra 30-45 minutes travel time depending on the BART station you’re using. Check out http://www.bart.gov/ and 511.org to plan your commute. SFPL is located near Civic Center BART Station.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
