Alicia Bell
Alicia Bell is a Southern-Born, Black, Queer, Femme. Her work, mostly in the realm of performance art, incorporates a multiplicity of realities and futures building freedom and liberation. In community, Alicia works mostly with black.seed, Critical Resistance’s Oakland Power Projects, and Abundant Beginnings.
Shawna Shawnté
Shawna Shawnté is a Black, queer, femme-identified music maker, DJ, event organizer, satirical video artist, and has appeared in short films and photo projects of other local artists. Her work is continuously informed by the social and physical land and skyscapes of the Sonoran Desert she was raised in. A self-taught musician, she has played in many bands in the Bay Area, toured throughout North America and organized many events in alternative, non-club spaces. Creating worlds where party-goers can express themselves free from the gazes of respectability and White Supremacy is central to her work as a DJ and event curator. She is a budding video artist; many of her works are social satire, mocking the queer community that she is a part of, the art world, and popular culture.
Mustafah Greene
Mustafah Greene is a stunning handsome collection of atoms from Brooklyn, NY. His work, mostly in the realm of visual art, is built upon connecting the classic and the contemporary to synthesize art that speaks truth to the times. In community, Mustafah works mostly with black.seed.
