Cherushii is Chelsea Faith, an electronic musician based in San Francisco, California. Her passion for dance music history is evident in her work, which takes cues from Detroit techno, Chicago house, and classic rave sounds. A multi-instrumentalist since childhood, Chelsea began experimenting with electronics as a teenager, which lead to playing live techno and house at underground raves in the 2000s. She has been working as a live performer, producer, DJ, and remixer for over a decade, using her gear savvy and innate musicianship to create lush, retro-futurist productions. Cherushii signed with LA-based dance music tastemakers 100% Silk in 2013, and released her second 12" for the label "Far Away So Close" in November 2015.

RESIDENT DJ's:
Jess Borja (Vinyl Dreams)
https://www.facebook.com/fluffoh
"Most frequently heard saying, 'Oh my god, I love this song.'" Vinyl addiction runs in her family-- Jess' father taught his daughters to dig at L.A. record shops in the early 90s. Disco was the vibe, and on her 13th birthday he gifted her his vinyl collection. Studying her inheritance, she became acquainted with anthemic disco floor stompers by the likes of Patrick Cowley, and SoCal tinged smooth music of the late 70s/early 80s, like Nicolette Larson. As her tastes expanded, so did get collection into Leftfield, Post-Punk Disco, edits, and anything that makes her stop and gasp, "oh my god, I love that song."
Years later, Jess went to Vinyl Dreams on a recommendation and never left. Through there, she helped found and is a resident DJ for Ladies' Night, a monthly event to showcase female talent. Additionally, Jess has also been featured on stellar monthly radio show Noise from the Void, favorite Monday night getaway Run the Length of Your Wildness at Underground SF, and booty-shaking party Well-Nourished Rhythms.
More than anything, though, Jess wants to talk to you about music-- she's got a whole lot to share. But why talk when y'all can listen?
Carla Lyn (Vinyl Dreams, Disco Soldier)

A delicate desert flower born & raised in the New Mexico desert, hailing from Albuquerque, Carla currently calls San Francisco, CA her home. An artist in every shape and form, her love of music & creativity is beyond anything material. She literally has music in her DNA; after growing up with a guitarist father who owned a professional recording studio, and spending her childhood immersed in live music, she has an impeccable ear for sound.
Carla has spearheaded countless electronic music endeavors – everything from club nights, to underground urban parties, to off-the-radar outdoor desert events. She sees music as her personal religion, and the dance floor as sacred grounds. In many respects, this music saved her life & she feels a deep seeded commitment to give that energy back. Her tireless dedication to sharing music in her community has earned her the nickname “Disco Soldier.” Disco Soldier has evolved into a crew which throws parties in SF, always with the intention of providing a place for the eccentric dance minded individual.
Music production and djing are the end result of her personal trans-formative journey. Carla's philosophy when it comes to music is more about elements of sound rather than a specific genre. Her starting foundation was in a great love for hip-hop. Her love of dance turned her into a house & techno head at heart. Her love of bass made for a back drop in jungle. Her style is weird, quirky, heavily syncopated & vibrating in the low end frequencies. Expect wax on the plates & an experience full of experimental soul.
