LGBTQ communities and all LGBTQ people of color are in anguish. The violence that occurred over the weekend is a continuation of the violence that has been inflicted upon LGBTQ bodies, particularly bodies of color for generations. We have been hurt, stigmatized, criminalized, and killed. Violence against LGBTQ individuals must stop, and this Saturday’s community gathering will be an important step in bringing an end to this violence and affirming our power and humanity.
Join us for this special gathering honor the loss of our fellow QPOC in Orlando this Saturday, June 18 at 4:00 PM at Galeria de la Raza, 2857 24th St @ Bryant.
