If you are working in the sex industry it is ultimate that you keep yourself safe at all times.
Sex Worker Safety first will focus on specific safety precautions to look out for in sex work.
Presenter Bio:
Kalash Ka (pronounced: kaa-lish kaa) Fae Magenta Fire is QIPOC (please, ask how), Certified Massage Therapist, MSW, teacher, Witch/Urban Shaman/Healer, and Empathic Life Coach, East coast native, now living in San Francisco.
They have a tapestry of sex work history from street-base work, in-call (private), sexual surrogate to Dom, kink/fetish modelling, etc., intimacy coaching, and is a proud and consistent Sex Worker advocate. Currently working and loving it, at St James Infirmary SF http://stjamesinfirmary.org, as Community Enhancement Manager.

Make It Rain: Money Magick for Sex Workers

Description: Need some Fempowerment around money? Do you dread making a budget? This workshop will cover some of the basics of money management for sex workers while also setting intentions into the universe for exactly what you want. This is a beginner workshop on how to make a budget and resources for doing your taxes. We will also do a group spell to make money more attracted to us. Bring your intentions, questions and ideas to share!
Presenter Bio:
Anita "Durt" O'Shea is a queer, fat, genderfreaky, sex worker activist born and raised in San Francisco. Working at St James Infirmary for the last 4 years has been a dream come true, especially getting to work with all the amazing staff and volunteers!! When not working at the ho clinic, Durt co-organizes the radical queer dance party "ships in the night" and dj's on dance floors throughout the Bay Area. S/he has been contemplating financial stability in the face of capitalism for a long time and is looking forward to casting some spells for money attraction with the sex worker community.

Arrest and Jail Support for Sex Worker

This workshop will cover some ways community members and friends can support sex workers who have been arrested and taken to jail. It will also include basic "know your rights" information and role playing!
Presenter Bio:
Rachel lives in Berkeley and has been escorting for about two years. She has a dog and a snake, enjoys hiking and camping, and volunteers at Saint James and at the SF SPCA (animal shelter).

This workshop is a series of exercises that encourages self reflection, self evolution self examination through engaging in self-care activities and meditation seeking optimum self-healing, self-maintenance, and professional success.
Presenter Bio:
Miki is an artist and filmmaker who has dedicated her artistic life to the pursuit and study of healthy sexuality and sexual expressions.

Defend Yourself!: Self-Defense Practice & Training

A session for practicing techniques of bodily awareness and defense from attacks both standing and on the ground. Assistance will also be provided by experienced practitioners in martials arts and self defense (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Krav-Maga, etc.) All levels of experience, ability, and bodies are welcome!
Presenter Bio: NEW ADDITION!!! Annie Danger
Annie Danger is a trans woman artist and activist living in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1999. She works with Girl Army out of Suigetsukan Dojo in Oakland teaching self-defense basics to women and queers. The Girl Army curriculum is based in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu altered and simplified to build effective techniques that will be useful after even a short session. Annie is also a teaching-rank brown belt in Yoshinkan Aikido and has studied under Sensei Mike Esmailzadeh since 2011. Annie is also a performing artist, tattoo artist, and radical plumber.
