Protest Against Trump on Inauguration Day: Fight Racism, Defend Immigrants!

On January 20, 2017, the racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti-worker Donald Trump will be elevated to the office of President, despite the fact that he lost the popular vote by a significant margin.
On that disgraceful day, tens of thousands of people will be marching in the streets in Washington DC, San Francisco and other cities, saying “NO” to Trump and the Trump program.
It is of the utmost urgency that all progressive people take to the streets in defense of immigrants, Muslims, women, all people of color and all working people. We take to the streets to advance an alternative vision. A vision of unity and solidarity in the struggle against the ravages of a system that has left half of the country in poverty and the 99% under the boot of an administration threatening to deny climate change, rights for immigrants, women and LGBTQ people, and all historically oppressed communities.
We call on everyone who is opposed to the Trump program to join us in the streets on Friday, January 20, and to volunteer between now and then to help build the march. Donations are needed and welcomed. Contact us by phone at 415-821-6545, email at info@answersf.org,, or go to website, www.answersf.org.
