After the success of September's event, BYOQ Bring Your Own Queer!! will begin to offer the ▼Queer Arts Mixer▼ monthly in San Francisco and Oakland in 2017! Queer artists often work in isolation; the monthly Queer Arts Mixer is an informal event bringing together Bay Area queer artists to build community, forge collaborations and chat about their work. This is a free, public event open to all but intended for queer artists, arts administrators, and our allies. Hosted by: Bring Your Own Queer (BYOQ), a community arts organization that offers free and low costs arts events as a means to bring together disparate segments of the Bay Area’s LGBTQ community. www.byoq.org
