The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, your fabulous Order of Queer Nuns, will host their annual Project Nunway charity fashion show on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at SOMArts.
On its 8th edition, Project Nunway features talented fashion designers paired up with some very special models - the Sisters - to create outstanding runway looks using recycled and innovative materials. The theme for this year is “Sinfinity”, which plays with the idea of a sci-fi extravaganza, celebrating fashion, diversity and the Arts in a true San Franciscan way. To Sinfinity... and beyond!
Special guest judges will choose the winning design with the help of the audience. The event also features a silent auction with items ranging from tickets to classic San Francisco events and products from local merchants and artists to signed Giants memorabilia!
This year’s beneficiary is El/La Para TransLatinas, an organization for transgender Latinas that works to build collective vision and action to promote survival and improve the quality of life of transgender people in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Join the Sisters and the designers for a night filled with cosmic glamour! Come out and enjoy the Indulgence that is Sinfinity!
