The event will serve as a fundraiser for three local projects that support and honor queer people of color: The APIQWTC Scholarship Fund, the GLBT History Museum’s upcoming exhibition about Angela Davis and the Black Panthers, and San Francisco State University’s Queer Ethnic Studies Initiative.
Everyone ages 21 and over welcome to meet and mingle, enjoy a queer-themed cocktail and catch some afternoon sun on Virgil's back patio. No minimum donation; you're welcome to give in any amount. (The bar is cash only, but donations will be accepted via cash, check and online credit card.)
