RAW presents Emily Hansel, Jenna Valez, and OOMPH Dance Theater Weds-Thurs, Aug 30-31, 2017- 8PM $15 Online Ahead of Time $10-20 CASH Only at the Door Sponsored by RAW (resident artist workshop), a residency program of SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts. OOMPH Dance Theater's Zackary Forcum presents a dance theater solo piece, "The Rage in this Cage." This fragment is the 1st fragment in the series "Into the Void,” and examines why we hold onto rage and the process of becoming. Emily Hansel' work is inspired by various topological subway maps, in which scale, direction, and distance can be ignored in order to represent space in a relatable, navigable manner. Also presenting a new work by Jenna Valez.
