Come in costume for our annual Halloween bash for a fright night of epic proportions and enter the GIANT COSTUME CONTEST.
Tour a “haunted museum exhibit” full of scientific curiosities and monsters from your most terrifying and iconic horror movie experiences while DJ Omar provides a fitting “Monster Mash” for a thriller of a dance floor bash.

Don’t miss the centerpiece of the night—a STRANGER QUEENS drag show and costume contest hosted by local drag legend Peaches Christ, whose performance can always be counted on to raise hell and bring out the evil dead. Past Peaches appearances have seen her is Pennywise, Pinhead, Greta Gremlin, and Nosferatu. What will she be this year?

Curious spirits can learn about spiders and ants and other creepy creatures with Academy scientists while enjoying Halloween-themed spirits and cocktails of their own. In the Planetarium, embark on a “Haunted Tour of the Night Sky.” For those who want a real fright, step into the dome for a late-night screening of “I Am the Doorway,” adapted from Stephen King’s terrifying sci-fi/horror story of an ill-fated astronaut on Venus.
