The Renoir is located within walking distance of the cable cars, Union Square and Folsom Street bars. Just in front of the hotel one can catch one of the historic trams that go directly to the Castro. The suites at the corner of the triangle have excellent views of Market Street for watching the gay parade with friends. Although not a deluxe hotel, the Renoir is inexpensive by San Francisco standards and feels warm and welcoming.

Central Downtown location not far from Union Square, museums, theaters and shopping. All public transport available right outside the hotel. Walking distance to most SOMA bars, subway or streetcar to the Castro (10 minutes).
