Castro Suites

We booked this extraordinary place on the basis of the web site descriptions and its looking so colourfully sub tropical. You have to understand we come from London...! Which was warmer - the ambience of the self-contained flat or its owners upstairs? Well we had the most excellent relaxed preparations for our civil ceremony staying in this sophisticated and well located address. We were given a most warm but un-intrusive welcome and left to our own devices. We had the best time, feel a great affinity and will return to Castro Suites.

What can I say... I first arrived here in a dubious frame of mind 10 years ago and I still go back every year! Let it be known I'm fussy, like my accommodation smart and clean, all amenities and no hassles. This little boutique find ticks all the boxes and much more. Stay in the wonderful private garden suite with doors opening onto a well groomed secret garden delight. Beautifully fitted out and totally up-to-date with the cafes and bars just a stones throw away... If you return to San Fran you're sure to go back. In addition Joel and Sam the amazing hosts of the property are both kind, helpful and true SF characters - GEMS!
