The lobby is fairly ordinary and so are the rooms. The huge plus here is the location. Although this is obviously not a gay hotel, I found the employees to be very gay-friendy, which should not be surprising in San Francisco. Note that the hotel parking charge is $50 per night, but you can park in the nearby Union Square garage for much less than that.
