Hotel Whitcomb

(3 Ratings)
A San Francisco vintage luxury stay
Stepping back in time to experience San Francisco in another era at the Hotel Whitecomb, this turn of the 20th century historic hotel named after a wealthy San Franciscan A.C. Whitcomb is classic decadence. Restored to its glory in 2007, the elegant lobby is adorned with Austrian crystal chandeliers, beautiful marble, Tiffany Stained Glass and rare Janesero paneling. The hotel’s elegantly appointed spacious rooms have been updated to accommodate modern conveniences. Centrally located and close to theaters and public transportation, this hotel offers convenience and luxury in a vintage setting.

Pride Brunch headquarters

This hotel and its special events coordinator, Sharon Chism, go out of their way to ensure a top-notch successful event! All advanced communication was excellent, preparation was thorough, and execution that day was complete, flexible, and hands-on. When we had a few last minute changes, they were ready and willing to adjust. It may be one of the older hotels, but Its historic look and prime location make it one of my first choices when planning an event for 30 or 300; and Sharon Chism always has an original creative idea to jazz things up. I can't say enough to recommend this hotel for all your special events.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have found it a very comfortable place to stay. It is near City Hall and the Civic Center and has a Muni and BART station right next to it. The restaurant is quite fine and reasonable.
