What we say

Healthy comfort food
Chow's serves traditional American diner food but with a touch of class. For instance, their cheese Burger Royale is served on a fresh local baguette with artisan cheese. Many of the ingredients are organic, including several organic wines on their not-to-be-missed wine by the glass list.

With a fun staff that is very SF you'll want to sit and eat at the bar so you can interact with everyone. I love that most everything in the menu can be ordered in small, medium and large portions. There is a great selection of beers and good comfort food, but you definitely want to save room for dessert. Fresh pies and cobblers are the perfect way to end a meal here.

I cannot remember how many times I have eaten at this place. It is definitely one of my favorite cheap eats in SF. You definitely get more than what you pay for. Make sure to try my favorite dish here - Smiling Noodles! Just thinking of dish makes me hungry! Try sneaking in here during lunch time because it gets very busy at night.

The staff's very SF. Young kids with different color hair and cute. Super nice. Pizza's great. They'll call you at the bar next door when you're table is ready.
