Squat and Gobble (Closed Permanently)

(32 Ratings)
Cafe/restaurant, often-crowded patio
Squat and Gobble serves salads, breakfasts and casual fair with generous portions. What is exceptional about the Castro location is the Parisian-style sidewalk seating.

great castro spot

food here is decent but what you really get is an amazing castro people watching spot to enjoy a meal and a beer with friends in the large outside cafe area. it overlooks the intersection of noe and market, and folks bound in and out of the upstairs bar lookout. you may even want to follow some of them in :-)

CREPES ARE TO DIE FOR!

I loved this cute little place in the heart of the Castro. The crepes were sooooo yummy! Delicious and flavorful with a nice side salad. There was a lot of fun people-watching too.

Awesome Crepes

I enjoy the variety of crepes that they serve. And the location is strategic too, since it is right on Noe and Market; where you could always walk up the stairs and grab a drink at the LookOut after while cruising the throngs of boys strolling on a sunny day.

Great Breakfast Place in Castro

Lots of food and convenient to the Castro. No table service, so it's quick and casual

Great food and great view

You can get crepes and omelettes of many different flavors. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating, so you can see the people go by. It is always the place to go for good food.
