great italian fare

we love this place partly cause it is right around the corner from the gaycities office in north beach and partly because of the really interesting little cafe space and the hearty italian food. so if you want true italian food off the beaten tourist track in north beach, check out albona.

Unique and homey "Istrian" food

Istrian cuisine is basically a more homey Italian food (mixed with Croatian) food. The service here is amazing, it's family owned and really feels it. You'll feel welcomed and the food is amazing. It's a real experience and I'd do it again (but as a once in a while sort of thing).
