Just your friendly neighborhood lezzy bar
The Lexington is lauded as San Francisco's most consistent lesbian bar. With great proximity to the Mission, this is a dusty gem that is always brimming over with friends. It's also boy friendly, if you bring the right attitude.

      Don't Waste Your Time
This place is a dive. Bartender unfriendly and had to wait way too long to get drinks; she was too busy talking to her friends. Other customers had to wait as long or longer. Unacceptable. Pool table was not available. Dirty and unwelcoming.

      Way too cool
I wish we had somewhere better than this to hang out in San Francisco. The Lex has some good points: the juke box has cool selections, the drinks aren't too pricey, the staff is nice, and there's a pool table on the weekdays. On the other hand, the Lex is a total Scenester's scene -- full of ultra-hip, ultra-unfriendly frat girls. Are you cool enough to hang at the Lex? Probably not.
