Hella Gay Presents: Benefit Party for Peacock Rebellion!

Have you been feeling warm and fuzzy lately? It's probably because that special Hella Gay time of month is coming early in November! Instead of our usual 3rd Saturday spot, we will be getting our gay on a week and a day early. We knew you were eager, so yeah — you're welcome.

This month's benefit is none other than the brand-new, San Francisco-Bay Area based, queer and trans people of color-centered project for the sassy, sexy, transformative arts: Peacock Rebellion. Peacock Rebellion uses the performing, literary and media arts for culture shift toward social, economic and environmental justice. Their first show ever, "AGEN(c)Y: Non-Profit Dreams and Disasters" will be performed at La Peña Cultural Center in Berkely on Nov. 8th and 9th — don't miss it! You can buy tickets here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/287204

It takes some serious cash to sustain the brilliant, necessary, and ambitious projects Peacock Rebellion's Fly Team dreams up — and you weren't going to spend those big, gay dollars on anything more awesome, right? Come dance (and in the case of the Fly Team, fly) with us!

Featuring your favorite resident DJs: G Star and Balthazar Lasagne, and more TBA.
