San Francisco Transgender Day of Remembrance 2012

To everyone in our community, our friends and allies: Please join us for San Francisco's Transgender Day of Remembrance 2012 on Nov. 20th.

Many of the organizations that serve and support transgender and gender non-conforming people in the Bay Area have convened to plan and organize the event, and will gather the community to remember those who have been killed due to anti-transgender violence.

We will meet at SF City Hall at 5pm and march to the City of Refuge (1025 Howard St.) in SOMA. If you do not wish to join the march, you can also come directly to the City of Refuge, where the main TDOR event will begin at 6pm. Our keynote speaker will be Sylvia Guerrero. We will also have a special video to celebrate the memory of all the trans people we have lost to violence.

The event will be FREE to the public and there will be FREE refreshments, as always. We also highly encourage everyone who is able to make a donation to help make this event possible; you can make a donation in any amount at:
