When Drag Queen Extraordinaire VENUS D LITE is sentenced by an evil Underworld Judge to experience life through the eyes of her idol, MADONNA, hilarity ensues as she finds out that life for the Material Girl is not no bed of English Roses. She discovers that parenthood can be a Mother, as she grapples with sassy LOLA over her burgeoning career and love for Lady Gaga, and son ROCKO, who is struggling with his own identity and desire to live with his father in England. Along the way we meet the servants, neighbors, journalists and administrators who make up the world of "Madonna Dearest", premiering in January, 2017 at the legendary Oasis Theatre in San Francisco. The new production re-teams writer Tony Blass with Adam Daniel Guerra, following their successful collaboration on the holiday-themed "Madonna's Christmas Carol" that broke records at the Paul Gleason Theatre in Hollywood in December of 2010, with talented newcomer Roque Caudillo, who brings a fresh, young perspective to the team. The acting troupe includes Transgender performer Sofia Malone as LOLA, who most recently co-starred with Venus at Stage 48 Drag Cabaret in New York City, fellow New York transplant Michael Piombo as ROCKO and COCKO, who has appeared in such diverse stage roles at the Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz" to Stanley Kowalski in "Streetcar Named Desire", and dancer JAVIER.
Adam's return to the legitimate stage in a dual role as his Drag Persona VENUS D LITE and MADONNA, is both the fulfillment of a dream, and a bold step forward in a 15-year career highlighted by his virtually universal acknowledgement as the #1 Madonna Impersonator by some of the world's most celebrated media outlets, being featured on television networks CBS, Telemundo, TLC, E! , GSN and, of course, Logo TV, on line media such as MTV.com, AOL, RollingStone.com, Barcroft Media, Italian Vogue and in print including being featured on the covers Australia's Famous Magazine and In Touch Magazine in the US and in the 2016 hardcover edition of "Ripley's Believe It or Not!"
