With Danny Goldberg, Loriel Starr, Wendy Tahara, Marco Ferrero, Simona Asinovski and more— we’ll be announcing musicians throughout the week!

Sound Meditation (often known as ‘sound healing’) is the practice of listening to soothing sounds to reach profound states of clarity and relaxation. It opens up deep meditative states that are usually unreachable without considerable effort.
During the event, participants lie down and are bathed head to toe in sound— it's a very hypnotic, ethereal experience.
You will come away with a clear mind, and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of sound. We strongly recommend this event for people who have trouble meditating, or feel like they just "can't get there." Give this a try :).
Sound Meditation SF promotes the ancient healing practice of sound work as a way to affect physical health and conscious awareness.

Featuring:
Led by Guy Douglas {gong, crystal singing bowls, flute, and more}
Guy Douglas, co-founder of Sound Meditation SF, is a Sound Healing Practitioner/gongmaster. He has been involved with the healing power of music his whole life from many different perspectives: writing, recording, producing and performing. He has studied sound healing techniques & the eastern philosophy of music, which helps clear dormant pathways to open the heart.
Alexandra Love Sarton from 'Beautiful Chorus' {vocals}
Alexandra Love is the director of Beautiful Chorus, a meditative vocal and rhythmic chorus from Orlando, FL. This is her first solo tour and she is ecstatic to be sharing space and sound with the most divine healers of the west. Singing in waves of harmony and love, her voice transcends any experience into the realms of the sacred.
Danny Goldberg {gong, Tibetan singing bowls}
Danny offers Sound Therapy through the weaving of the sound vibrations of singing bowls, gongs & chimes. The sounds provide a channel for release, opening & transformation; tuning our vibrational frequency. Danny offers ‘The Sound Immersion Experience’ all over the Bay Area, and has been featured at events including Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle, Lucidity, Beloved Festival, Globe Sound Healing Conference.
Loriel Starr {gong}
Loriel Starr is a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner and a graduate of The California Institute of Integral Studies “Sound, Voice, and Music in the Healing Arts Program”. Loriel’s sound meditation events, sound bath events and private practice are inspired by the power of Sound to support healing, well-being and self-discovery.
Wendy Tahara {harp}
Wendy Tahara began classical piano lessons at the age of seven, eventually earning a piano performance degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. She has been playing the Celtic harp since 2006, & is an active composer and improviser on both instruments. In December 2012, she played at the 3HO Winter Solstice Festival, & has most recently enjoyed playing for Satkirin Kaur Khalsa and Braco.
Marco Ferrero {gong}
Simona Asinovski {crystal singing bowls}
More musicians will be announced soon!
