Several more are available for board, staff and long-time volunteers at https://uya2017.eventbrite.com?discount=SECURE
Super Volunteer (each worth 3 Regular Shifts) are available to people who have volunteered at UYA or Folsom previously by emailing Jeremy@glbthistory.org:
Super Volunteer, Beverages (AM'): 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Super Volunteer, Green Team (PM'): 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Volunteer shifts last roughly four hours, and usually just a brief online training is required. Many different tasks are available, with most involving a short advance training online.
Volunteering at the fairs is a great way to have fun, meet new friends, check out the leather scene and support the Historical Society, too, What's more, volunteers get some great perks, including access to a special area with free food and drink and no-line porta-potties.
