The Independent (Closed Temporarily)

(1 Rating)
Bay Area's Go-To Indie Hall
This club stands on hallowed music ground. Before it became The Independent the space was The Half Note, The Vis Club, Kennel Club, and finally, The Justice League. In its current incarnation, the venue packs them in with the best bands that are too big for Cafe Du Nord, but not quite ready for The Warfield. If you can swing it, get yourself one of the VIP bracelets and take in the show from the narrow balcony above the bar.
