Charming place

Good food, nice people, great place to visit. In the heart of Castro I found this nice restaurant. Not overpriced, honest, and fine. Thank you for all staff!

Comedy of Errors

I was once in a restaurant in Charlotte where I swear to god the waiter said "I'll bearback for your Dessert" when clearing dishes. I cleared it up after a moment - he said "I'll be-right-back for your Dessert". So in Catch, I had the waiter misunderstand my food, and cause a halt to dinner - I received Steak instead of Salmon. I do speak English. Otherwise, the service was good, restaurant half-empty, and therefore not too loud, the Salmon was precision cooked but the fries I sampled were not crispy. Combined with my experiences in the past, it's usually a good restaurant, but not exceptional. You'll enjoy it.

Catch something else

I've eaten here a few times since it opened. A few years ago it was OK. The last time I ate there is was overpriced and mediocre - actually pretty bad. In a city where there are great options, I'd say this is more of trap than a Catch. Try the Anchor Oyster Bar or the Woodhouse Fish Company instead.
