no attitude, man bar
At last somewhere not camp, well, almost. Good crowd.
Best Bar in Castro
We have always enjoyed this bar when it was Daddy's and now as 440 Castro. It tends to the older and more masculine which we like. However, there does not seem to be an outdoor patio. As an occasional smoker, I looked for it but did not find it.

Fun , but turning into a hipster joint
I love 440 but it seems that the bar is totally changing. It seems the young hipsters with daddy issues are all that frequent there. Along with the horrible go-go boys who look like they are drug addicts.
Mans Crowd.
It's a good casual place to go, more of 30-50's crowd. Mostly easy going regular guys. Good place to get a beer.
