Laid Back Victorian Dive Saloon

I loved this place since I first walked in *ahem* years ago. I have watched it change a little, and it has all been for the better. The decor is turn of the century, Victorian, dive saloon. The atmosphere is chill. Though they have different types of events, this is one of my favorite places to come for a more laid back kind of night. Its just big enough for a party, just small enough to be comfy. Since the sad closure of Jezebel's Joint years ago, The Stud is one of my favorite hangouts.

Very interesting experience for me

I went to the Stud during Club Bangkok because my friend is the DJ. The place is not really dead, but the dance floor is completely dead. Everyone are around the pool table, and there are not many people. My first impression of this place is interesting. There is a fortune teller to tell your future. There is an arcade (ms. Pacman) if you are bored. Mirrors are everywhere. I love the drink because the bartender uses bigger glass for the same price as other bars or clubs. I don't think I will be back though.

One of the best bars in SF you might miss

Always welcoming and not stingy on the drinks. Dead on some nights, but crazy packed on others so check the website for specialty nights. I love BIG which embraces diversity bigger guys for smaller guys, older 4 younger, interracial, every combination of the like.. Vote for The Stud and Gaycities on THE Zone Mobile app.

Interesting place

If your up for a challenge - go to this place and then try to sum it up in a review. YOU CANT. This place creates its own vibe. Truly unique in its own. While we wont b back, I encourage you to check it out, if not just for a chuckle. Stay for one of the shows. Smoking mexican hay and calling it mj, then telling everyone how stoned they are - was hillarious.
