Clumsy local spot

Well, I still like the ceiling, but the new management has become sloppy. Like hiring a clueless bartender who takes your money while you're still counting it. The last time I was there, he served a local matron's doggy a beer. And yes, said pooch drank out of a glass ON THE BAR. Now you know why that was the last time I was there.

Fantastic hole in the wall

The bartender, Steve, is very friendly and pours a great drink. Great (small) place for friendly people and conversation.

Friendly bar

Having moved up here to San Francisco 2 months now, I have tried to find a friendly bar, a friend took me to this bar. people were friendly, the bartender Steve is very cool! I would highly recommend it for people who want to meet others in a relaxed atmosphere.

"Sleepy" is the key word

Although I've had a couple of good times here, I've also had times where it was eerily quiet and deserted. More often than not, I'd describe this bar as a little boring. It might be a good place to have a conversation with a close friend though...

Great little hole in the wall

I first went there last during the Folsom Street Fair last year and went again during Dore Alley this year. Everyone there is friendly, bartenders and patrons alike. It is an easy place to strike up a conversation and the drinks are primo strong also. Definatley a plus. I will be back during Folsom this year.
