great hangout; great coffee
great hipster mission hangout, and some the best hand made, hand roasted coffee in the city, bar none.
Great wide open space - get the donuts
It seems like most coffee shops are cramped into small spaces, Four Barrel bucks that trend with 30(?) foot ceilings and a somewhat cavernous space. THey roast their own coffee in the back (making it look like a warehouse and brewery at the same time), but yet it somehow feels approachable and warm. The donuts are great, and the coffee is too. No wifi, but who cares. Play a board game or just talk - it's what the cool kids do.

The open space and large windows create an inviting atmosphere. Yes, you will find a couple of people glued to their laptops.
